A Letter From The President...

Scott Logistics Corp was created over ten years ago with two employees and a vision.  That vision was to build a company that could provide transportation solutions to our customers and a safe, secure working environment for our employees.  We currently have over 100 employees and are moving over 50,000 shipments of freight annually for more than 2,200 customers using over 15,000 carriers.

Our goal is to aggressively work on that vision as we continue to grow and flourish.  And, as in the past, we intend to deal with our customers, vendors, and employees honestly, openly, and fairly by constantly monitoring all aspects of our business on a daily basis.

As part of this monitoring process, we have assigned account managers to each active account at Scott Logistics Corp.  Brokers are assigned to each account manager to move the freight for that account manager’s clients.  Brokers are responsible for locating suitable equipment for the shipment, dispatching the driver to the pick up and delivery locations, as well as constantly monitoring the location of the freight through our sophisticated computer programs.  Our objective is to pick up your freight on time and safely deliver it on time.

Our account managers are our most experienced personnel and are totally responsible for knowing the needs of the customer, monitoring the brokers, and providing total support for the customer by handling all facets of moving their freight.  These individuals are extremely well-compensated and do a very good job for us.  They are our management team.

To better serve our customers, we have extended our operating hours.  We have available personnel from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. EST Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday.  We also have a 24/7 emergency call number to handle any unforeseen issues.

In addition to our brokerage operation, we are now operating 65 tractors and 255 fifty-three foot vans in our carrier operation.  We also have a distribution operation that consists of a drop yard and warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia to better serve the needs of our customers.

As a well-established, reputable broker, we feel that we are in excellent position to handle your account in a professional and courteous manner.
