Our expansion is complete! We have moved and are enjoying the new facilities, including a Wellness Center and 1/8-mile Walking Trail for employees. Updated pictures are posted on our Company History page.

We are currently building new websites for Scott Logistics Corp, as well as for our sister companies, Scott Carriers, Inc. and Scott Distribution Service, Inc. The new pages will be www.scottcarriers.com and www.scottdistribution.com and will explain the services of both companies, as well as offer pages of information to employees. The layout on all new pages will be updated and easier to navigate.

Scott Logistics Corp is also proud to announce usage of fiber optic cable in our new corporate offices. Fiber is a great and economic alternative to phone and cable services. With four Rome, Georgia offices uniting under one roof, there will be increased data, voice, and video demands. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
At Scott Logistics Corp, we are able to communicate directly with our customers through electronic means using EDI forms 210, 214, and 990. EDI; thus, providing them with all pertinent shipping and routing data, while also allowing for the automatic processing of banking transactions. We utilize the Kleinschmidt, Inc VAN and PowerTrack networks, which permit the interchange of documents in any format with any firm directly or via interconnection with other networks. These systems allow for electronic customer invoicing, electronic payment of invoices, load tendering with detailed freight information, and creation of status reports of the comprehensive pickup and delivery schedules. Monetary transactions can be completed through direct deposits into financial institutions and the wiring of funds into specified accounts. Finally, the transaction results can be monitored as both Scott and our customers receive confirmation notices with regards to the electronic invoicing and shipping status.
